Kids for the cure won a grant from the Queen City Rotary Club!

We decorated 58 kits today with a girl who received one of our kits! After break we will be putting together the kits and dropping them off at Catholic Medical Center, Manchester and mutliple Dana-Farber Cancer Institute Sites in New Hampshire! Check back later on for photos of that! Special Thanks to Rebecca, Mr Bielik, Kasie, Chelsey, and Corrine who helped us paint the bags! We are so psyched to drop off another 60 kits to these oncology practices!

We will be painting bags and assembling contents of the kits tomorrow after school with a girl who received one of our kits! Check back tomorrow for photos and potentially videos as well!!!!

Do Something Consulting Program!

We will be doing a consulting program through DoSomething.org and American Express --they will match us with American Express Employees who will serve as a valuable resource while providing various fields of expertise. This program will help us as we are working to make our organization sustainable for future growth, this consulting program will match us to help us reach the next level of development!

"I got one of your care packages and it was really nice to get one.  I have a question, I'm doing this project for school and i wanted to do something like what you guys are doing I was wondering if I could help you make the kits. Let me know how i can help and what i should do."

We received this email in December from a child who received one of our kits! It is so amazing to hear that she wanted to help children going through what she is going through, just as we do! She has since then sold over 60 bracelets for Kids for the Cure and raised over $60!

We'll be meeting up with her next week to have her help us with our third round of kits! We will be putting the folders together and doing goody bags and such one day after school! Check back for photos! :)
